Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to hotel. Later, you will have a chance to take a city tour: visit to Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Municipal Theatre, Dong Du Mosque, Shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Evening free for shopping at Ben Thanh night market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to My Tho, you will see colorful as well as picturesque rice field along the highway. On arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, then take a boat trip up to Mekong River to visit Thoi Son islet to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs. Then, visit the authentic life of the local and handicraft shops, visit coconut candy work shop, taste honey tea at bee farm, then take a sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region. Back to HoChiMinh City in the afternoon. Shopping at AnDong Market. Overnight in HoChiMinh.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City tour & Cu Chi tunnels
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Cu Chi Tunnels which is famous for its network of underground tunnels – 200 kilometers long and 12 meters deep. Discover fighting bunker, hospital, meeting bunker, and kitchen, look out booby traps, mines, bombs crater. Don’t forget to try shooting range with AK 47, M 16, and machinegun M 30, M 60. Return to HoChiMinh City. Later visit to War Museum. Shopping at China town market, and the lacquerware factory. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for flight to Ha Noi. Upon Arrival, you will be transferred to Hanoi centre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: HaNoi city tour – Ha Long bay
You will be transferred to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi – It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Visit VanMieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature – The first Imperial school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Lunch at a local halal restaurant. Transfer to Ha Long. Dinner at a local restaurant. Visit Ha Long Night Market. Overnight at hotel in Ha Long.
Day 5: Ha Long bay – Ha Noi
After breakfast, settle on your private boat and start cruising on Ha Long Bay – the World Heritage – visit Thien Cung Grotto, Dau Go Cave, Dinh Huong Islet, Ga Choi Islet. Then, have lunch on board and spend rest of your time on board to enjoy Ha Long scenery, which is crammed with stalactites and stalagmites. Dock back to Ha Long pier and drive back to Ha Noi and visit a complex of the HoanKiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, But Tower (Pen- shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red- painted wooden The Huc bridge. Take a 1hour cyclo/predicable tour around the Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Old Quarter streets. After dinner (on your own) enjoy the special Vietnam Traditional Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi departure
Free at leisure till driving to Noi Bai International Airport for departure. Home sweet home.
