Day 1: Antananarivo
Upon arrival at Tana Airport transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Antananarivo.
Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe
We drive to Andasibe, stop on the way to visit the reserve of Peyreras to discover the reptiles, insects, chameleons and crocodile. In the afternoon, at leisure until you leave for an evening walk which allows you to spot some peculiar nocturnal species, such as the mouse lemurs, chameleons. Overnight in Andasibe.
Day 3: Andasibe
Enjoy a morning walk within the Analamazaotra reserve, home to the Indri Indri, the largest living lemur. Other lemur species might be spotted during your visit, such as the common brown lemur, the eastern grey bamboo lemur as well as well as different endemic species of birds. In the afternoon, visit the private reserve of Vakona including its small island for lemurs. Overnight in Andasibe.
Day 4: Andasibe – Antananarivo
Upon reaching Antananarivo we visit the Royal Hill of Ambohimanga. A World Heritage Site this hill consists of a royal city, a burial site and an ensemble of sacred places. Here you learn more about the history of the Malagasy kingdom. Overnight in Antananarivo.
Day 5: Antananarivo – Morondova
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Morondova. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Morondava.
Day 6: Morondova – Kirindy – Morondova
Drive to the Kirindy forest. Walk in the reserve through the dry deciduous forest to watch the lemurs Propithecus verreauxi and Lemur fulvus. Enjoy a Picnic lunch at the reserve. Stop at the Alley of the baobab for sunset. The avenue or alley is a prominent group of baobab trees whose striking landscape draws travelers from around the world. Some of the trees are 800 years old and reach height of 30+ meters. Overnight in Morondava.
Day 7: Morondova – Nosy Be
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Nosy Be Island via Antananarivo. Upon arrival get transferred to your Hotel. White sandy beaches, blue-green seas, amazing coral reefs, scuba-diving adventure, 11 volcanic lakes and the delightful smell of ylang ylang, coffee, cacao, vanilla and sugar cane plantations spread all over the island distil a balmy fragrance and we have reached, Nosy Be Archipelago. Overnight in Nosy Be.
Day 8: Nosy Be
The whole coastline is punctuated by a great number of gorgeous bays and deserted beaches lined by palm trees. To make the most of your time be sure to visit some of the surrounding Islands, most popular being Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely. Overnight in Nosy Be.
Day 9: Depart Nosy Be
Today after breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back home.
