Day 1: Arrive Cape Town

Cape Town is the second largest city in South Africa and is the capital of the Western Cape Province, as well as the legislative capital of South Africa. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town

Today, proceed on a half day city tour of Cape Town. Take the cable car (additional cost) to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Continue through the historic Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Castle and other interesting sights.  Towards the end visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. This is South Africa’s most talked about tourist venue with many shops and restaurants. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 3: Cape Town

Today enjoy a full day tour of Cape Point. Once a fishing community, now is one of the most popular residential areas. The harbour still has a charm of days gone by. You can enjoy a half-hour cruise to “Seal Island” (optional) or for the not so adventurous; a stroll through the fish market “Mariners Wharf” is a must. Continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass Penguin Colony (entrance not included) at Boulders beach near Simon’s Town. Then, travel onwards until you reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian. Your last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, home to some 3500 species of Southern African fauna and flora. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 4: Cape Town – Knysna

After breakfast, proceed for Knysna, situated between lush forests and the shores of the peaceful lagoon. In the evening, proceed for a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Cruise to the Knysna Heads, on the boat comfortable and cozy with a classic wooden feel. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 5: Knysna – Oudtshoorn – Knysna

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion for a day excursion to Oudtshoorn. Experience the Little Karoo at its best, a truly scenic wonder of Africa. This tour covers the magic of this unique area with visits to the vast limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, an ostrich farm, where you can see, touch and ride an ostrich and the Cheetah Wildlife Ranch, where you will find white tigers, lion, cheetah, crocodile and many more animals. Overnight in Knysna.

 

Day 6: Knysna – Sun City

Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, proceed for Sun City – Africa’s premier holiday resort which captivates visitors with its combination of golf, gambling as well as world class hotels. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 7: Sun City

Today, the day is at leisure where you can have non-stop fun at the Valley of the Waves, exciting entertainment options, concerts, sporting events and much more. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 8: Sun City – Johannesburg

After breakfast, depart for Johannesburg. Upon arrival, enjoy the Gold Reef Tour with exciting historical gold mining attractions. The tour includes an introductory film and an underground mining tour. You will also get to see a bar of gold being poured. After the tour you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Johannesburg.

Day 9: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Hoedspruit airport. Upon arrival at Hoedspruit airport, you will be met and transferred to your lodge. Lunch will be served depending on the time of arrival. In the evening, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Overnight in Kruger.

Day 10: Kruger National Park

Today, enjoy a full day game drive starting early in the morning. This will give you an opportunity to view wild animals in their natural habitat as they go about their daily activities. Overnight in Kruger.

Day 11: Depart Kruger National Park

Gear up for an early morning game drive. Later check out and depart on transfer to Hoedspruit airport for your onward flight back home.
