Day 1: Arrive Amman

Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Visit the ancient city of Jerash, nestled in a green valley in the biblical land of Gilead, the most complete and well preserved city of Roman empire. Wander among the original temples, theaters, plazas, paths and colonnaded streets. Overnight in Amman.

Day 2: Amman /Desert Castles / Amman

Visit of several Islamic medieval desert castles that offer a number of fortresses with fresco art and zodiac dome including Qaser Azraq where T. E Lawrence of Arabia had his headquarters.  On return we discover the city of Amman and visit the Roman Theater & Citadel, Amman downtown market and city center, its traditional souks, restaurants selling local food and sweets, churches and mosques. Overnight in Amman.

Day 3: Amman – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Karak – Petra

On the way we cover Madaba the city of Mosaics, which has the oldest known mosaic map of the holy land, view the Jordan Valley from the famous Mount Nebo visiting its Byzantine Church.  Afterwards continue to Kerak touring its Castle, one of the finest examples of Crusader military construction. Overnight in Petra.

Day 4: Petra

Be awed while spending a full day visiting the rose-red city known as Sela in the Bible which was lost to the world for five centuries until it was rediscovered in 1812. Enter Petra on horseback through a narrow gorge carved in the sandstone and opening on the stunning view of the Treasury, made famous in the movie “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”. Highly recommended “Petra by night” in the light of 1800 candles is out of the world. Overnight in Petra.

Day 5: Petra / Wadi Rum / Aaqba

We will be exploring the desert in 4×4 Jeeps visiting the holographic pictures carved before Christ on this intriguing tour, then transfer to visit Aqaba, famous for its water sports and adventure activities, there are a host of more leisurely activities that can be enjoyed by visitors who wish to relax, rejuvenate or just get away from the pressures of city life. Overnight in Aqaba.

Day 6: Aqaba / Dana Village / Dead Sea

A UNESCO heritage site Dana Village is perched right at the edge of the Great Rift Valley with views of Wadi Arabia desert.  People have lived here for more than 6000 years. We will enjoy a cup of tea with local people of Dana who are famous for their simplicity, hospitality and kindness. Continue to Dead Sea, Nature’s living miracle a place to rejuvenate and restore both body and soul. It is the lowest point on the face of the earth.  Overnight in Dead Sea.

Day 7: Depart Dead Sea – Amman

You will be transferred to airport for your flight back home.
